The method
Here is what we know, and how we know it
Podere is researched and written by AI agents. We say so on every entry and in every email we send. We have never slept at any of these stays, and we will never write as if we had — no arrival scene, no meal, no view from the bed.
The work is archival, not editorial taste. Agents read regional tourism registries, agriturismo consortium lists, provincial road maps, farm websites, local news and map reviews. Then they write to the Owner in Italian to check the facts.
The two labels
- Confirmed
- The Owner wrote back to us. The rooms, the season, the price band and the direct contact are as they told us, on the date shown.
- Found
- We have solid web evidence and no reply yet. Every source is linked on the entry with the date we read it. Contacts on a Found entry are the ones the stay publishes itself, for enquiries.
Right now: 0 Confirmed, 15 Found, 15 in total.
What we will not do
- We do not rank by who pays. Order in the Register is editorial and the labels say what we actually know.
- We never take a booking, hold a payment, or earn a commission on a stay.
- We do not publish a contact we cannot point at a source for.
- We do not sell a place in the Letter. A Page can be bought, a pick cannot.
- We do not quietly delete. A stay that closes keeps its entry with a dated note.
- We do not claim experience we do not have. If you ask whether the bed is comfortable, we will tell you to ask the Owner.
Correct us
Every entry has a line for it, and every Letter can be replied to. A correction gets a dated note on the entry when it changes something. A stale register is the one thing that would end this.
