Tenuta del Fontino

Tenuta del Fontino is a biodynamic farm at Loc. Fontino, near the Lago dell'Accesa, in the comune of Massa Marittima. The Puntscher family took over the estate in 1970 and Heidi and Sophie now run it in the third generation. The farm has its own winery producing biodynamic wines, including Ciliegiolo, Syrah, Sangiovese and Viognier bottlings. Guests stay in a late 1700s villa and its farmhouse. Six apartments stand at Casetta, five minutes' walk away, and a glass lodge sits among oak trees. The Massa Marittima tourism register records 17 rooms.
