The Register — Langhe — checked 15 October 2026

Vineyard stays in the Langhe you cannot book online

The Langhe are the hills south of Alba, in the province of Cuneo, with the Roero to the north of the Tanaro and the Alta Langa rising to the south. The land is Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and hazelnut, and many estates keep three or four rooms above the cellar.

Torino and Milano are the usual airports, with Alba reachable by train via Asti or Bra. Harvest is late September into October, when rooms go first to buyers and importers. White truffle season is October to December; January and February are quiet and many estates close.
