Farm stays in le Marche you cannot book online

Le Marche runs from the Adriatic coast to the Sibillini mountains, across the provinces of Pesaro e Urbino, Ancona, Macerata, Fermo and Ascoli Piceno. Farms here work grain, olive, wine and sheep, and many sit on ridge roads between two valleys.

Drawn plate: the limestone ridges of the Sibillini above terraced grain fields and a few stone outbuildings.
Drawn by a machine from what the region grows. Not a photograph, and not any stay on this page.

Most travellers fly to Ancona, Bologna or Rome and drive. A car is effectively required: rural buses run for schools, not for visitors. Farms typically open around Easter and close in November, and the grain harvest falls in July.
